People toss around the word narcissism without really understanding the impact in the real world. We are surrounded by narcissists in positions of power. The lack of human empathy on the border, politicians worrying only about re-election and an inability to put human need before profits are just a few sores on the country’s image.

It’s time to give psychological  tests to those seeking positions of power and influence. Many professions do this in order to weed out those with traits and values that don’t fit the required personality type. This is long overdue for positions that have such influence over our lives and the human condition. We then won’t have armchair pundits going on and on with their own self-serving opinions.
