Justice Kennedy retires and I hate everyone

Justice Kennedy’s retirement announcement is just another gut punch to the reality of a Trump presidency, and to me it’s the deepest one yet.  For anyone who doesn’t know, Justice Kennedy has been considered the “swing” vote on the Supreme Court for the last decade (although the past 3 cases he’s voted conservative).  He cast the deciding vote that legalized same-sex marriages and upheld the legalization of abortion, and his retirement with Trump as President puts them both in serious jeopardy.  And I mean ACTUAL danger, not just a distant possibility that people brush off.  This will actually change a shit load of people’s lives.  Possibly our children’s lives.  This could take away women’s healthcare rights and basic human rights for the LGBTQ community.  This is what our parents’ generation fought hard for and we’re regressing at a considerable rate with dick bag Trump in office.  To everyone who told the anti-Trump people we were overreacting when he became President because nothing in our lives is REALLY going to change, go fuck yourselves.  This is what we feared because why wouldn’t a bigot as narcissistic, disgusting and fascist as Trump do colossal damage to our lives.  I’m sorry, correction; by OUR lives I meant anyone who’s not a white, heterosexual, Christian male.

I know there is a distinct difference between a diehard Trump supporter and someone who voted for him out of distaste for Hillary or as a middle finger to the DC swamp.  But right now I don’t care.  The consequences of voting for him, no matter what the reasoning, make no difference in the end, and for that I have an inexplicable rage towards every single person who put him in this position.  So if you voted for Trump, fuck you.
